De-Domestication - Soya the (House) Cow, Uhura Bqueer
Two queer drag creatures - a cow from the Alps and a panther from the Amazon - meet in a world that has lost its balance. In the midst of monocultures, cattle farming and colonial violence, the stage becomes a projection screen for rewilding and resistance. The two artists create a multimedia, ritual spectacle that makes the global connections between agriculture, racism and ecocide visible - poetically, politically, provocatively. A celebration of transformation, freedom and the power of queer imagination.
